Thank God for rest time.
I dare say that the lessons of life are much more difficult than academic study. I would like not to be so vague, but some details are much better left unpenned.
To cut a long story short, God has been so real in my life. Goodness, I never knew I could love this much. Yet it hasn't been me at all, but God. When I look back I just can't imagine how I even made it here...but when I think about how God carried me through each step of the way, I guess that really, it was easy. His yoke is light. The option of falling was never there, as long as my hope was anchored in him. You can't fall when the power that created the universe is holding you up. On one of the most painful nights of my life, praise was pouring from my heart. Explain that! God is amazing, that's what.
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.

Here's something to think about:
God didn't put us here to chase success, or enjoyment. God put us here to love.
God never said, "Go get a degree and a high-paying job."
God said, "Love the Lord with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and all your strength," and "Love your neighbour as yourself."
So often I catch myself falling into that worldly mentality, getting frustrated that my life is being disrupted and I can't do the things that I want to do.
When I remember that I am called simply to love, I gotta thank God that I am right where I'm supposed to be.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
